Q- What is the royalty and what do I receive for it?
At Arthur Treacher's and Pudgie's the royalty is 5% of gross sales. This fee purchases continued use of the trade name, logo, business identity, and much more. It assures you of the ongoing corporate support you receive and finances the research and development activities the franchiser does to grow the brand and assist in customer marketing.

Q- What type of experience do I need?
There is no magic background. Some franchisees have retail experience, sometimes specifically in food service. This can be helpful but is not essential. The most important ingredient is the desire and commitment to succeed, as well as the ability to communicate and get along with people.
